What Are Australian Laws Regarding Neighbours Livestock On Our Land?
We live on 2 acres and have some livestock, however, our neighbour has acquired 5 goats and they keep jumping the fence to get onto our land, and grazing the grass we have fenced off to feed our animals later in the year, i.e. summertime when it is very dry. We have told them to keep the goats on their side, and also complained to their real estate agent(they rent), but they pay no attention. Can anyone tell me what the position is?

I would try ringing the ranger of your local shire. If he catches the goats on your land he should be able to impound them. Or at least give you some advice.
Make sure all your animals are ‘legal’ though before you get the shire out there.
